“ Ate here today on a cold Saturday morning by myself while walking around my neighborhood. I had ordered and ate the pabellón criollo and it tasted good and delicious. The service there was also attentive and pleasant. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time. ”
“ This place is fantastic and the food is authentic. El caldo de res is really incredible and very tasty. I had a small bowl and I can tell you that it filled me up. Next time I am in NY, I am going back to this place again. We took cachapas to go. ”
“ Authentic Venezuelan comfort food. The menu has A LOT of items so I can barely attest to all of it. What we did try was an honest-to-goodness arepa Reina-Pepiada (avocado-chicken salad) and Tequeños (fried cheese rolls) both were very good. We also ordered a quesillo (variation of a flan) for dessert but we weren't so keen on it. The café con leche was really good! Of course, their prices are quite unbeatable so top marks for sustenance/$ ”

“ I was looking for a Venezuelan restaurant in Corona and stumbled upon El Budare Café. The waitresses are mostly Spanish-speaking but they were welcoming and willing to answer any question I had about different foods on the menu. They didn't have the dish I wanted to try but the waitress recommended their most popular Arepa, 'The Reina Pepiada'. It had chicken, mayonnaise, and avocados. I chose to add on sweet plantains. I enjoyed the cornmeal dough. It was super fluffy and soft. The added plantains were the perfect touch. My friend ordered the "La Llanera" apera: beef, cheese, fried plantain and she added avocados. She was very pleased with her meal and decided to order an Arepa to go. The seasoned beef in the Arepa was the highlight of her dish. Their food is affordable and filling. Drinks were flavorful as well. I ordered a Tamarind Mojito and my friend ordered their Tucacas Beach (Vodka, Cranberry, Orange and Peach juice). I was impressed to find out that it was the bartenders first time making our drinks, they were so good! Overall I had a great experience, the food and drinks were great and their customer service was exceptional. ”
